A 30's semi in a leafy suburb just fifteen to twenty minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city centre yet easily accessible for all of Nottingham's entertainments. A beautifully appointed room up in the eves quiet and restful with a very good full English breakfast.
Suzanne and her dog welcome you into her home with an immediate cup of tea or coffee whilst showing you the open plan ground floor. The Yellow House has been open since 2003 and in that time has entertained a variety of guests from all over the world; - New Zealand Australia United States Canada and from most countries in Europe. Guests can partake of breakfast in the dining room or if the weather is fine sunny and warm enough maybe out on the terrace. A full English breakfast is on offer or lighter fare if required. Vegetarians can be catered for by prior arrangement. Suzanne your hostess is knowledgeable and well informed about her locality whether it is about the restaurants or the theatre or even interesting walks nearby; taxis can be booked and dinners arranged. Guests stay in the specially designed loft conversion which contains an elegant and comfortable bedroom with its own ensuite shower room. The colour scheme is a restful cream and sage green with a garden theme. The Yellow House Bed and Breakfast is situated in Woodthorpe to the north of the city and can be found easily from either the M1 or the A1 with the precise directions given. So if you are travelling for pleasure or business this is a perfect spot to rest your weary head. Many people nowadays are getting tired of the uniformity of hotels when you honestly don't know where you are so why not try a different approach? - a B&B for a change where you can relax and actually speak to a helpful friendly hostess.
Take the A610 signed to city centre to the ring road turn left signed A60 Mansfield follow until you arrive at the t-junction with the A60 turn left and then immediate right into Thackerys Lane follow to a small island straight on first right into Whernside Road past a left turn to the crossroads that is Littlegreen Road turn left and house is on left about 100yards The Yellow House is No. 7 with a green fence and large chestnut tree in the drive.;Nottingham Rail Station
